Agroscope: Optimising the use of plant protection products with modern technology
The PFLOPF project aims to reduce the use of plant protection products by at least 25 %. This is to be achieved with precision farming technologies. These include internet forecasting tools, GPS guidance systems and sensor-controlled crop protection and hoeing equipment, says Agroscope.
From 2019 to 2026, the resource project
will run in the cantons of Aargau, Thurgau and Zurich.
