In the main Spanish growing areas, smaller quantities of cucumbers are available for export. Prices on the Spanish producer markets fluctuated strongly in the first weeks of the year. In the meantime, a line, at a fixed level, seems to have been found.
In addition to exports to supermarket chains and discounters, narrow quantities of Spanish cucumbers are currently available. The trade at the German wholesale markets is more scarcely supplied with cucumbers. Prices have settled at a high level. The decreasing hand is disposing cautiously in the hope that prices will move downwards.
