Bayer with significant growth in sales and earnings
Group sales increased by 8.7% to €50.739bn in 2022 after adjusting for currency and portfolio effects (Fx & portfolio adj.). EBITDA pre exceptionals rose by 20.9% to €13.513bn. This included positive currency effects of €429 million (previous year: minus €507 million). The EBITDA margin before special items improved to 26.6% (previous year: 25.4%).
