EU-Mercosur Free Trade Agreement: Farmers' Association demands renegotiation of agricultural section
The agricultural part of the EU-Mercosur free trade agreement must be renegotiated. This is what the German Farmers' Association (DBV) demands in its latest position paper. German farmers are in favour of trade in principle, it says, but trade needs rules. In the DBV's view, this is the only way that "trade can be positive for the economy, society, consumers and international cooperation.
