Hapag-Lloyd with exceptionally strong earnings in 2022
On the basis of preliminary figures, Hapag Lloyd closed its 175th anniversary with EBITDA of 20.5 billion US dollars (19.4 billion euros). EBIT grew to 18.5 billion US dollars (17.5 billion euros). Higher freight rates were a major contributor, the company said.
