Made in Nature: Sustainability through concrete action
The first tree in the zero-emissions orchard was planted on 26 January 2023. The
underlying idea was developed to offset the emissions from the Made in Nature project's communication activities and to give consumers a more accurate idea of the value of organic production in terms of sustainability. 90 trees will be planted on a 1 ha plot near the Bologna Agribusiness
Centre (CAAB) at the beginning of 2023 and in each of the two following years of the project. It is estimated that the trees will help absorb 4.5 tonnes of CO2.
