Destatis: Producer prices in November 2023 7.9 per cent lower than in the previous year

In October 2023, the rate of change compared to the same month of the previous year was still -11.0%. The development is still due in particular to a base effect due to the high price level in the previous year. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), producer prices fell by 0.5% in November 2023 compared to the previous month.
