First Wales Agriculture Bill given go-ahead
Wales’s first Agriculture Bill was yesterday (27 June) given the go-ahead and will now seek Royal Assent.
The Bill, which has been led by the Rural Affairs Minister Lesley Griffiths, is expected to come into force in Wales later this summer.
The main source of future Government support for farmers in Wales will come through the proposed Sustainable Farming Scheme. This
