German Environmental Aid takes legal action against the authorisation of the active substances flufenacet and sulphuryl fluoride

While the climate-damaging insecticide and biocide sulfuryl fluoride is mainly used in Germany for pest control of export timber in shipping containers, the active ingredient flufenacet is used as a plant protection product. DUH criticises the EU Commission's actions as unlawful and calls on it to stop the renewal of the approval of both active substances
