Germany: Second lowest cherry harvest of the past ten years

Compared to the ten-year average from 2014 to 2023 of 47,300 tons, the cherry harvest in 2024 decreased by 21.5% on a declining cultivation area of 7,000 hectares (-4.7% compared to the ten-year average). Only in 2017 (24,800 tons) was the harvest in the past ten years.
