Lidl ‘won switching gains from every other grocer’ over Christmas
Lidl has toasted its Christmas trading performance by noting it was the only supermarket to win spend from all of its competitors over the festive period.
The discounter said it had achieved over £116m in switching gains from all the other supermarkets over Christmas, with gains of £51.6m from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda.
