Maersk to mark the launch of greener vessel

To celebrate the world’s first container vessel sailing on green methanol, AP Moller-Maersk has announced that it will host a week of festivities on 18-21 September in Copenhagen.

The 2,100 TEU feeder vessel is described as ”a small piece of history in the shipping industry”, and the event will include the name giving and other activities.
