Netherlands: Agricultural sector misses climate targets for 2030
These targets are not yet within reach, the Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Mr Adema, told the House of Representatives, the Second Chamber, in The Hague. The Dutch Environment Agency estimates that greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture will be reduced to between 19 and 22 megatonnes of CO2 equivalents and from land use to between 2.5 and 3.7 megatonnes as a result of the policy measures introduced
