Netherlands: Ecological farming area increases by 9.5 percent

The share of organic farming now accounts for 4.8% of the total Dutch agriculture. There are noticeable disparities in regional development: Gelderland leads the way with over 30.8% more organic cultivation area, an increase of 3,132 hectares, plus an additional 997 hectares.
