Turkey: Organic farming still below two percent

The appropriately managed area is estimated at 343,000 hectares. This represents 1.6% of Turkey's total agricultural land. In 2002, this share was only 0.3%. The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture paid the equivalent of 74.0 million last month.
