Drought, the unprecedented rise in production costs and the increase in temperature have caused production to fall by 24.6% according to data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

Potatoes have also suffered a significant reduction in their harvest, going from 2,081 tonnes to 1,942 million tonnes, which means a drop in production of 6.7%.
