Almeria closes another "atypical" season with the best price average in 10 years
"Atypical". This is how COEXPHAL has defined the Campaign Balance for the 2022/23 financial year (still provisional). And that makes two. At the same time last year, Asaja-Almeria used the same term to define the previous season. The worst thing is that this 'atypicality' is probably on its way to becoming the norm due to the effects of global warming and the increase in drought on the crops.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
