Almeria represented at IBMA debate
Jordi Portolés, in addition to being Manager of the multinational in Spain, with headquarters in Almeria, is Secretary of the IBMA (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association). He came to support the interest for the Almeria countryside of the early approval of the European Regulation on the Sustainable Use of Phytosanitary Products (Southern Regulation). "Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
