For ANOVE it is essential to have these techniques available in the European Union in order to achieve the necessary advances in plant breeding to feed a growing population in a healthy, safe way and always trying to minimise the impacts of climate change.
Following the publication last July of the proposed regulation by the European Commission
, ANOVE has been working with the European Commission to develop a new regulation on plant breeding.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
