Clara Aguilera discusses agricultural challenges with UNICA governing councils
European MEP Clara Aguilera has held a meeting with the governing councils of UNICA, with the aim of jointly assessing the challenges currently facing the agri-food sector in the European Union. During the meeting, a number of critical issues were discussed, including water scarcity, European regulations, ultra-processed products, the
supplementation of the European Union's food safety policy
and the need to improve the quality of food products.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry.
