EC annual report on plant protection products points to reduction by 2022
The study has been published at the same time as the Impact Report on the proposed Regulation on the sustainable use of plant protection products (SUR). One of the main objectives of this proposed Regulation is to reduce the use of pesticides by 50% and fertilisers by 20% by 2030, in line with the Farm to Farm Strategy, which includes a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers by 20% by 2030.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
