Europe rejects the plant protection regulation
The Parliament's rejection of the proposed regulation on the use of plant protection products shows that production and food safety are beginning to be taken into account, according to FEPEX.
The proposal for a regulation on the sustainable use of phytosanitary products, which has been rejected by MEPs, constituted a very serious threat to production in the EU, according to FEPEX, because
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
