Europe wants to eliminate 65% of citrus pesticides
If nothing prevents it, in just a fortnight the European Parliament will give the green light to a regulation that could be the final blow to agriculture. From the 20th to the 23rd of this month, the European Parliament will debate and vote on the regulation on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products, a text that, if it goes through, will mean the banning of 65% of the pesticides currently used by farmers.
