France caps food prices
The French government on Monday presented an agreement with the distribution groups, which have agreed to reduce their margins with a basket of products that each of them will choose and which will carry a common label, "anti-inflation quarter". These products will have "the lowest possible price" at the expense of distribution margins, not farmers or consumers.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
