HREZ: supply, taste and quality with resistance to ToBRFV
Since the emergence of ToBRFV, which posed a threat to the entire tomato industry, Enza Zaden began its research work to find a gene that would provide resistance to rugose and, consequently, be able to develop varieties with such resistance. Once the resistance gene was found, the breeding team started with the first crosses of parents to
resist the resistance gene.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
