Losses of 8 million euros due to the latest storm in the Valencia region
Storms give no respite to Valencian agriculture. Yesterday a new storm of torrential rain, wind and hail again caused serious damage to crops that are in full harvesting season. According to estimates by the Valencian Farmers' Association (AVA-ASAJA), the last DANA affected 5,000 hectares of agricultural land with direct losses of up to 5,000 hectares.
