Mercabarna-flor is planning a 3-day Saint George's day
The orders being received by wholesalers and florists suggest that a massive Saint George's Day is forecast in Catalonia, with some 6,000,000 roses sold, just like last year". With these words, the Councillor for Trade and Markets of Barcelona City Council and President of Mercabarna, Montserrat Ballarín, explained the forecast for Saint George's Day this year.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
