The regional minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Carmen Crespo, has stressed that "the complicated structural drought affecting Andalusia is pushing producers to go even further in their already important commitment to water efficiency in the countryside". "The objective is clear: to be able to continue to obtain quality food to supply the world despite the
drought.
