PIPEO, a labour 'agro-Erasmus' to promote the generational changeover
One of the main challenges facing the agricultural sector is generational change. According to the study 'Agro-millennials. Perfil de los nuevos agricultores/as y ganaderos/as del siglo XXI' carried out by COAG and ETSIAM, a minimum of 200,000 new additions to the Spanish countryside will be needed over the next decade for there to be a sustainable generational changeover. Time is pressing.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
