The FEPEX Assembly in Lleida will analyse measures to tackle climate change.
The present climate change is one of countless that the Earth has undergone. This one in particular has two special characteristics: it is the most intense of those known to us, and it is caused by human activity through the burning of fossil fuels. Faced with this situation, there are measures that can be adopted in the agricultural sphere that will allow agricultural systems to be maintained and improved, which will be discussed at the conference given by Antonio Ruiz de Elvira, professor of applied physics at the University of Alcalá de Henares, who will be taking part in the FEPEX Assembly in Lleida tomorrow, Tuesday.
According to Ruiz de Elvira, who has spent 42 years working on the problems of the
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
