The import of cut flowers is growing by 18%.
Within the cut flower industry, the most imported flowers by Spain until October of this year have been roses, with 53 million euros (+18%), and carnations, with 19 million euros (+13%). Chrysanthemums also stand out, with a 27% increase in imports, totaling 6.8 million euros.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels.
