The insured area in Spain rises
Luis Planas took part in the meeting of the Agricultural Insurance Quality Observatory, created in 2004, to monitor the measures being taken to improve the quality of the agricultural insurance system.
An average of 410,000 agricultural insurance policies are taken out each year, covering some 6 million hectares and 329 million animals, which
means that the number of insurance policies is increasing every year
.
