The potato beetle has been detected in Menorca.
Widely distributed worldwide, the Colorado potato beetle is native to North America and penetrated Europe in the first quarter of the last century. In Spain, it arrived in 1935 and is currently widely distributed, with Menorca and Eivissa being exceptions.
