The regulation on the use of plant protection products continues in the EP
The proposal for a regulation on the sustainable use of plant protection products includes among its main objectives a 50% reduction in the use and risk of chemical pesticides and a 50% reduction in the use of the most hazardous pesticides by 2030.
It also calls for a total ban on the use of plant protection products in sensitive areas, which could represent 40%
of the total use of pesticides in sensitive areas.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry.
