The SUR Phytosanitary Regulation will "put the nail in the coffin" for the industry
The European Parliament's Committee on the Environment and Public Health (COMENVI) on Tuesday 24 October adopted the draft report on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products (SUR) regulation drafted by Austrian Green MEP Sarah Wiener. A proposal that is "totally unacceptable and must be rejected because of its extremely serious consequences for the environment".

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
