The first estimates advanced by the Valencian Farmers' Association (AVA-ASAJA) describe the rains as "very expected and beneficial in general terms for Valencian agriculture and livestock farming after several months of drought", but notes "the first damage on some farms" and shows "concern about the duration of the DANA as the
drought is expected to last for several months".
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
