Emilia-Romagna potatoes: agreement on minimum production price
A number of companies in the Emilia-Romagna region have signed a preventive agreement with Agripat–Association of Potato Producers on the minimum price of potatoes for the 2023-24 marketing year at 0.32 euro/kg.
Baschieri Rino, Fuitem e Orsini, Marmocchi Angiolino,Leonesi, Ortofrutticola Parma, Orsini Ercolee Romagnoli F.lli Spa signed it. A shared action for economically and socially sustainable potato farming .The minimum price will be applied in relation to what is foreseen in the Framework Agreement on the first category product sold on consignment, calculated on the basis of the data in the production report validated by Agripat. This agreement will alloẁ producers to cushion some of the uncertainties of the next campaign.
