Bimi broccoli is not a total novelty for the Italian market, as we have seen several times in recent years, but until now, after announcements and a short marketing period, it has always disappeared from the radar. Bimi is the 100% edible broccoli developed by seed company Sakatais now marketed in Italy by Sipo, as Massimiliano Ceccarini, general manager of the Romagna-based company, explained in the video.

Sipo presented it again at Marca Fresh 2023, focusing on innovation, taste, transversal use and nutritional properties. It is a product available all year round as it is cultivated in different areas; at the moment, Italian production is in the testing phase.
