Ukraine’s superfood – new excellent blackcurrant varieties developed by local breeders
Representatives of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Sciences (Ukraine) developed and officially registered seven new blackcurrant varieties. Breeders have been working on their varieties for almost 20 years, according to EastFruit.
“Some of the varieties have already been tested by professional and amateur farms of Ukraine, and “Black dessert” became a hit even before its official recognition,” notes representative of the Institute on their Facebook page.
Soon, all interested growers will be able received a detailed description of the new varieties and find out about their availability for licensing on the official website of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Sciences.
