Geothermie Groep Nederland (GGN) has decided to abandon its plans to extract geothermal heat at 25 locations in the horticultural area near Erica, the Netherlands. GGN and local horticulturists could not come to an agreement on the purchase of geothermal heat. The growers believe there are other ways to utilize the heat.
