At a farm in the Netherlands, two thrips species, Scirtothrips aurantii and Scirtothrips dorsalis, were discovered on various crops in early November. While Scirtothrips dorsalis has been previously identified in the Netherlands (Find Scirtothrips dorsalis 2022), this is the first time Scirtothrips aurantii has been found there.
