India: 131,000 tulips sent to Himachal Pradesh for indigenization

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has harvested and sent more than 131,000 tulip bulbs to Himachal Pradesh as part of its project to promote the use of locally grown flower bulbs instead of importing them from Holland every year, NDMC officials announced on Tuesday.
