The Eldoret airport runway expansion project is currently in progress with the goal of accommodating larger cargo aircraft, which will have a direct impact on the agricultural export capacity for farmers and agri-businesses in Kenya's North Rift region. Caleb Kositany, the Chairman of the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) Board, is overseeing the project.
