Kenya's electricity imports from Ethiopia increased by 88 percent in the first six months (H1) of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, as the East African nation sought more affordable hydropower, according to a report by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) released on Friday.
