Kenya's exports will now have duty-free access to the 27-member European Union market following the entry into force of the EU-Kenya Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) on July 1, 2024. This development expands the market reach for Kenyan exports to 500 million consumers. In exchange, Kenya will need to open its markets to the EU.
