Kyrgyzstan has decided to exempt the import of tulip bulbs from Value Added Tax (VAT).

On August 12, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan expanded the list of goods exempt from VAT on import. The new exemption now includes tulip bulbs, tubers, corms, and rhizomes in vegetative dormancy (HS code 0601103000). This measure aims to support domestic producers and boost business in the country.
