With the majority of orchids in the Russian market still being imported, the government is promoting the opening of a local facility. In Yaroslavl, the Gorkunov Group has established Russia's first complete-cycle orchid greenhouse. Spanning 8 hectares, the facility aims to cultivate 2.5 million Phalaenopsis orchids.
