W styczniu 2025 roku do obwodu swierdłowskiego zostało sprowadzonych niemal 1,4 miliona ciętych kwiatów i 35 800 roślin doniczkowych, wszystkie uprawiane w krajach spoza Rosji. Kwiaty pochodziły m.in. z Holandii, Kolumbii, Kenii, Izraela, Ekwadoru, Kostaryki, Włoch i Meksyku.
