Taiwan and the EU signed an agreement to protect Oncidium and Phalaenopsis orchids, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Tuesday. The accord safeguards Taiwan's position in the global orchid supply chain, as reported by CNA. Francesco Mattina, Director of the EU Community Plant Variety Office, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food were involved in the agreement.
