W październiku 2025 roku Holandia potwierdziła drugie oficjalne wystąpienie szkodliwego owada Scirtothrips dorsalis na roślinach ozdobnych przeznaczonych do sadzenia. Szkodnik został odkryty w szklarni w prowincji Noord-Brabant na dziesięciu roślinach Baccharis genistelloides. Potwierdzenie laboratoryjne było obowiązkowe.
